I have loved drawing and painting for as long as I can remember. I have a degree in Fine Art and an MA in Multi-Disciplinary Printmaking, and after leaving college spent a decade working as a freelance artist in education, leading workshops in schools, arts centres and museums for children, young people and adults. During this time my work was exhibited throughout the UK and abroad, bought by private collectors and public collections, and I found great joy in using my creativity to bring beauty into the world and helping others do the same.
I realised that I wanted to train as a shiatsu practitioner after having a series of sessions and experiencing profound changes in myself and my life. During my training I took a complete break from my art, and when I came back to it after 8 years, it had completely transformed too! I see my shiatsu as deeply connected to my work as an artist, as I use this creative healing art to help my clients see the beauty of their whole selves. Some of my other passions include singing, 5Rhthyms dance, creating beautiful shrines and altars for sacred spaces and events, and spending time in nature. I live surrounded by the nature of Dartmoor.
